Teens on the Front Line is a life skills program serving Houston, Texas and the surrounding area. We provide age and grade level appropriate training and guidance for at risk youth, ages 11-18. The program features services such as abstinence education, HIV prevention, health awareness, financial preparation, academic tutoring, higher learning preparation, career development, etiquette training, and debutante training. TOTFL offers workshops, presentations, conferences, and practical advice to tweens and teens about their emerging adult responsibilities. 

I have six kids and have had some bad breaks nothing going the way i planned I was born into a family of five my mom was a single mother with questionable relationships and marriages I had to learn about breakfast lunch and dinner. I mean i have no taught life skills. I am trying to make the best of what I have been given but it seems that i am totally dependent on my mom and when i make any choices i allow them to get shot down by her opinions if i start to get ahead and get some funds she always wants something its like shes trying to keep me at just enough lifes a blur i am currently married seeking divorce caught between him and my mother he likes not paying bills my mom likes collecting tax money off me and my kids and she uses enough of what i give her of child support for the kids from my first relationship to keep us well off. I GOT A WHOLE BUNCH OF PIECES AND NONE THEM FIT TOGETHER AND WHAT DOES DOESN' T LEAD TO ANYWHERE. I LIVE IN THIS BLUR EVERYDAY I WANT OUT BUT DON'T KNOW HOW.

I have joined the Aidteam and I wanted to let all of you know that I may be able to help you with your problems. I can direct you to information you need for assistance, whether it be help with bills, finding a job, working online, etc. 

I have also experienced a myriad of personal challenges which I feel uniquely qualify me to help you with grief, relationships, budgeting, among just a few of the things this older gal has experience in.
